We’re glad you came to check out our site and learn a little more about our practice. One of the first things you should know about us is that we treat our patients like they’re family. That means we know your name when you walk in the door and we will always do our best to make you feel welcome. Our patients keep us going, so we pride ourselves in developing relationships with them that lasts.
We don’t want to be just another dental office. We strive to offer the most cutting edge technology in our practice while combining that with great customer service.
We’ve been serving patients in the Okolona, Highview and Fern Creek areas of Louisville, KY for many years now.
Below is a little bio on each member of our team.
Dr. Witte
Dr. Greg Witte is a native of Northern Kentucky. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he attended The University of Louisville School of Dentistry completing his studies with a DMD in 1991.
Dr. Witte is a member of the Louisville Dental Society,
The American Dental Association, and the Woodland Dental Club.
Dr. Witte receives great satisfaction from his practice, especially in improving patients’ smiles. He also enjoys playing golf, racquetball, and especially serving as music director for his church.
Dana
Dana has been with our practice since 2005.
“ My passion for dentistry has come from assisting and being mentored by Dr. Witte. Patient care is the most rewarding part of my job by making sure I provide every patient with a friendly attitude.”

Betty
Betty has been working in the front office as a part of Dr. Witte’s staff since 2003.
“I take a lot of pride in making sure our patients get optimal use of their dental benefits.”
I will take the time to help with financial arrangements and discuss any concerns with treatment.
I believe the atmosphere of our office is key to the happiness of our patients.”
Julie
Julie joined A Winning Smile Dental Center this year. She joined us with 17 years of experience in the dental field with financial management and insurance billing background. She is also a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers. Julie stays current with insurance and billing through a variety of professional development courses and continuing education seminars.
Julie feels that it’s very important for patients to feel comfortable in an environment like this one; she knows this direction comes from Dr. Witte because of who he is as a person and a dentist. She enjoys working with high caliber people in an environment that is relaxing, personal, and professional.
Kristie
Since her graduation from hygiene school in 2004, Kristie has gained seven years experience in her hometown of Somerset, KY before moving to Louisville in 2010. Kristie joined our practice in December 2011 and most enjoys the family-like atmosphere that A Winning Smile provides. Taking care of others’ health needs while getting to know them on a personal level is what makes Kristie’s career most rewarding for her.
When not at work, Kristie most enjoys mentoring high school students and leading worship at her church in southern Indiana.
